Your new metal roof will be environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and stylish. You’ll find plenty of custom design and trim options to appeal to a variety of tastes. Whatever you choose, your property value is sure to increase, and your building will be sheltered for decades by the durable steel panels provided by Liberty.
Three Roof StylesYou Should Know
Regular Roof Style (good)
The standard, regular roof from Liberty Metal Structures is recommended for temperate and mild climates. It is engineered with curved edges and cold-formed steel. Every roof is backed by our fantastic warranties. Because this roof requires fewer steel reinforcements, this model is the most affordable choice. However, it is not recommended for areas that see regular extreme weather. If you are not sure if your climate has mild or moderate weather, we recommend contacting one of our specialists!
A-Frame Horizontal Roof Style (better)
The A-frame horizontal, or “boxed-eave” style”, is a common architectural sight. This style is still rated for areas with moderate weather conditions and will withstand high winds. However, it is not recommended for areas with high snowfall and rainfall, because of its horizontal panel installation. If you have questions regarding your location’s weather and recommendations, please reach out to one of our incredible expert staff members at (800) 440-7309!
Vertical Roof Style (Best)
The Liberty vertical roof is the industry’s highest, expertly-rated roof. It is certified to withstand winds of 140mph and snow loads of 35psf! Because of its vertically engineered steel panels, snow and rain will be directed toward the ground. The panels are also installed vertically, so you will never need to be concerned withaccumulation on your roof. This highly durable steel roof is built to handle all kinds of weather and last for a lifetime!
How Metal Roofs Address Heat
Metal roofs by Liberty Metal Structures address three forms of heat transfer: radiant, conductive, and convective. We use a reflective coating on our roof panels to block radiant heat transfer into your metal building’s interior. The clear span engineering allows airspace to prevent conductive heat transfer. When your building is installed by professionals at Liberty, proper ventilation should be provided, allowing any convective heat to flow back to the exterior through vents. These, and other engineering measures, are designed to save energy. That translates to saving money for you! Even better, most solar panels will find that our roofs are perfect for installation – far easier than installation on shingles. You won’t find a more energy-efficient roof than the metal roofs from Liberty!
